Vasilis Soulis was born in Athens in 1981. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the guidance of Zacharia Arvanitis and Rena Papaspirou. He was recommended for a scholarship during the academic year 2005-2006 and graduated in 2007 getting full marks from painting laboratory Z under the guidance of John Psychopaidis. Currently living and working in Athens, Vasilis did his first solo exhibition at Gallery Ekfrasi Gianna Grammatopoulou in Athens in 2009 and the second solo exhibition at Ena Gallery in 2017. The last solo exhibition he did was shown at Skoufa Gallery in 2019. In addition to the solo exhibitions, he has participated in many considerable group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. His works have been acquired by private collections in Greece (Frissiras Museum, Vogiatzoglou Museum) and abroad (Luciano Benetton Collection).
