Yiannis Kaminis is inspired by people, ideas and phenomena as they are evident in the sphere of conscious and unconscious life. He chooses acrylic colors to represent energy dynamics and the painting emerges as a flow of energy. Usually each painting has a multifaceted meaning unveiling archetypical signs and symbols. Each painting is characterized by free-flowing movement and multilevel spaces. The artist is in an altered state of consciousness during the painting and usually selects music to accompany the energy representation of themes. When he paints for people he selects their color dynamic and continues with the imagery on canvas as a finger print of their unique character and identity.
